The Christmas Program

The kids took part in our church's Christmas program and as usual, it's always entertaining and full of sweetness and laughs as you never know what kids are going to do and say once on a stage.

Alexis saying her verse. She did a great job.

Can you find Maddie and Brady?
Brady said his verse with great expression and Maddie was " a reporter" and although she hardly paused to take a breath, she was adorable too.

Lexie played, " Oh come all ye Faithful." I think I was more nervous than she was. She played wonderfully, and made her parents proud! - Look at those pipes. She's ripped! :)

OUr children are known as the grumpy singers. All the other children gaze out with bigt smiles and waves for their parents. Ours, well, let's just say, they wouldn't make the cut.

Here's Keilah Grace and Harrison looking more than thrilled to be there. When Harrison looked up here and realized he was next to Keilah, he gave this meanest dirtiest look, "humphed" and moved to the end of the line for the duration of their part.
Later in the evening when all was quiet and Harrison was sitting with us, he proceeded to shout, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" from his seat. We don't even do Santa. HA! Later it was "Jingle bells" as the children on stage began jingling their bells for the song. Needless to say, I was relieved when the program was over and the lights were on again. Ahh, the joys of Christmas...

Our Lil' Family Christmas

Sullivan's first Christmas and present
Harrison's pride and joy ~ A Vikings t-shirt

Monster trucks for the boys!
Austin finally got his webkin!

Lexie loves her "Honey" dog from Nanny!

Sophie gets her first puppy like one of the big girls.

Keilah's love for dogs continues...

Maddie surprised Lexie with some money for Christmas. ~ So sweet! I love these girls.
Keilah Grace with her "Kayla Grace."

Harrison with his dog set - I love cheap Fleet Farm toys!

Austin made this cute Reindeer "handprints" craft a few weeks ago, and I had to show you. I think it's adorable!

Surprise!

Thanks Grandpa Doug and Nena! We can't wait till spring to jump till our heart's content! We promise not to get hurt Grandpa, so just relax and don't worry! :) Mom says to just remember that their is a net around the tramp so we can't fall off or get stuck in the springs.
We love you!
From all the Jumpers, Lexie, Maddie, Brady, Austin, Keilah Grace, Harrison, Sophie, and Sullivan

Sweet Treats

We now have this mess to show for all these...

Yummies made with love and maybe a few germies but hopefully not any boogers. Thanks Leanna for your help. I can't imagine the chaos without your help with the kiddos. I hope you'll make it an annual event. :)
There was lots of rollin' and lickin' and taste testing...

Lots of laughs by these two!

Peanut butter wrapped in sin ~ I love these! Rachel Ueland's recipe

Cut out sugar cookies of course. The girls loved these and decorated most of them this year. I have visions of future years with them. I have a feeling things might get fancier as they get older. They are getting so creative!

Jared's one and only request. Thank goodness for their simplicity. He's easy to please. I kinda liked the funky twist they took in the sprinkle department.

And lot's more of these! We had a great day of baking and made lots of sweet memories, but I am reminded why I don't do this very often. My kitchen looks about the same a week later. It needs a good scrubbing that's for sure! I think I might save that gingerbread house for Valentines Day like we did last year. And the caramels are still in the fridge lingering for any remaining visitors, so come on by!

Strange

Apparently, you have to scroll down for miles on end to see my most recent posts . Weird. This has never happened before. I don't know what I did. Sorry to make your finger work. Better not happen again though. I feel kinda bossy lately.

2 months old

I'm definetely awake alot more - even at night!

I spit up more than I used to.

I'm getting the hang of focusing on people.

I recognize most of my family members. Mommy says I try to block the scary ones out.

I smile at her and Daddy now, and they love me to peices for it.

I'm 11.5 pounds and 22 1/2 inches long.

I got my first cold this month.

I got my first bandaid after my shots yesterday. Boy, was I mad at that lady.

I can hold my head up real high as you can see here.

I'm loved by nine other crazy people who all live with me. Can you say that? Mamma says I'm blessed and cursed at the same time, but mostly blessed. :)

This is totally backwards and I can't fix it...

But this is our favorite face! She loves being naked and runs from us when we go to dress her. Wish I was as comfortable in my skin if you know what I mean. HA!
Constantly on the move Sophie. This is what we see most of her lately. After she's "naughty" doing soemthing like fishing in the potty, she turn and runs! It's kinda cute to see her bow legged kness knocking together as she takes off for the hills.

Sophie can really give a good stare down. She was down and out about something here.

Ta Da!

This little elfling has been so good. Not one present opened yet or one ornamnet off the tree. Am I dreaming?!

Oh ya, see that little elf holding the puppy? He's done enough for all the elves in elveland. All innocent looking here, but very criminal like in reality.

But this lil' joker got the honors this year as the we take turns among the children putting the star on top of the tree. Lexie is still patiently awaiting her turn again. She's only had one. Imagine that. There is always someone new added to the list making the line longer. Sophie next year with Sullivan behind her. Maybe the next year? We'll see what God has in store for us. I like long lines of this kind ~ don't you?

Hope you're all enjoying the season and all it brings to our lives. We have so much to be thankful for especially this time of year! Remmber the Reason behind the season.
~ For unto us a Saviour is born, unto us a Saviour is given..."

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas...

And it's about time! I think we finally deocrated the tree a week ago. Aauugh! I noramlly whip it out in a few days and this year, I can't seem to get it together. Everything is taking me so much longer. I can't imagine why...
Anyway, I found this incredibly beautiful and funky I might add, purple plum feather boa at "K-mart came apart" a few weeks ago, and I love it. It was 50 % off, and I think they've actually gotten a bit better about their merchandise, so I was thrilled when I stumbled upon this. It's perfect for my living room because it brings out the plum in my pillows. Very important you know.
I'm totally into greenery now, and the inside pretty much consits of white lights and greenery. Maybe I'll post more pictures later when I have time to breathe. It's crazy around here! I've told my kids they must plant themselves in front of the tube while I try and get ten people ready to leave by tomorrow night. They know I mean business when I tell them to watch TV. Ha!

Reindeer Crossing

We don't do santa at our house, but amazingly, when the kids got this adorable bag of reindeer food, I couldn't resist the thought of putting it out. We put out reindeer food the other night, and they were so excited and full of anticipation. I suppose the neighborhood bunnies that are more like small dogs feasted on the oatmeal flakes, rasins, sunflower seeds, and red glitter. I hope red glitter isn't too hard to digest. :)

Sunday Morning Rush

It's a rare Sunday morning these days when we can snap a few photos. Usually we're still in our pj's at nine on weekdays. Maddie says my New Year's resolution should be to shower every day. If only I could...
