Iceskating Lessons

2 times a week, 45 minutes a peice, 1 1/2 hours on the go, and 2 weeks down, 2 more to go this session. Ask me next month if we're still doing this...

Alexis is having a blast learning different skills as she plans on being a professional skater before she is a professional gymnast, and then of course, she heads off to culinary arts school to become the next Rachel Ray.
Great we can live off her salary when we're old and grey if we don't die of stress and go broke first!

A Work in Progress

The trim has been by far the most tedious work I think, but it does finish off a room beautifully and make all the difference.

Here is the boy's room looking very yellow when the color is nothing like yellow. It's very tan, although, I prefer the title "Tobacco Road." It much more alluring.

On to the girls room - which I love by the way. The pink turned out nothing like the pictures and is very sweet and little girlish. SHhh. Don't tell them that.

And last, but certainly not least, the family room in all it's ledgley glory. Auughh! Time consuming, but I must say, very nice for all my mounds of photos of the kids. Black frames, here I come!

Happy Belated Easter!

Here are all our chicks ready to go Easter morning. Got the boys shirts super cheap from Old Navy for around $3. Yay Me! We enjoyed a yummy breakfast of pancakes and sausage at church and had a lovely morning remembering yet again our Saviour and His work for us on the cross.

I managed to pull together a good meal with help from Jared so at least they could enjoy some holiday food.

Thanks for the new movie Grandpa Doug and Nena! We love "The Tale of Desperaux." It's a beautiful story of forgiveness and courage.

We also managed to color some Easter eggs, but sure did miss our "Ressurection Eggs" this year. Check em' out at Family Life Today. They're lost deep in the garage right now with all this construction. So were their baskets for that matter, so I found these cute buckets for a buck and filled them with goodies I've stored up from the dollar bin and such over the last few months, and I love clearance racks from Gymboree!
