John + Katie = Love

I love this couple's story and they are just so in love and adorable to boot! I wish I could relay it, but I don't want to botch it all up so I'll leave that up to the bride and groom. :) This is actually Kylie's older sister, Katie's wedding, also Roxy's daughter. What a busy summer they've had preparing for these special days! All the details were carefully thought out, and again, another beautiful, but very different wedding was set out for us to enjoy. I loved all the details and yet their simplicity was just oh so carefully crafted. Here's the events in order! Don't you just love the paper flowers and the calla lillies against that sky blue? You can't see all the detail in Katies's dress but it suited her beautifully and the lace and beading was gorgeous. I wish I had more, but between the windier evening and all 9 of my kiddos, I'm just thankful we didn't cause more of a scene at the reception than we already did. HA!

We wish you much joy and many blessings from our Saviour Katie and John! We love you too! :)

Bryan and Kylie Get Married!!

These are all my pictures from my dear friend Roxy's daughter's wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, hardly a cloud in the sky, and not even a hint of a breeze which is very different for our prairie state, but we took it and enjoyed it immensely. I'd rather be hot than cold anyday I say.

The setting was their family owned ranch and the place was just so crisp and pristine. Like the movies with the white rolling fences... I loved it! The ceremony was perfect with a wonderful gospel message put out by the groom's father and all the special decorations and touches here and there looked like it came out of a magazine yet felt so homey and original all at the same time. I wish I had thought to take pics of the decor. It was all so cleverly put together! The bride, Kylie, is super creative! The color scheme was super festive and so fun. I loved the mix of patterns and texture everywhere. I guess you had to see it to fully appreciate it.... Well, I'll just let ya'll sift through the pics. It was a scorcher, but worth all the sweat for sure. The food alone was so yummy I just want to eat again thinking about it! HA! They had it catered through Ruby Tuesday's and they did a magnificent job! The fresh burgers and fixin's were awesome.

We love you Kylie and Bryan and pray your marriage is a blessing to others as you seek to serve Him as one now!
